Abstract : These articles are based on research in training methods and techniques for improving combat readiness of the armored cavalry platoon. Criteria to evaluate the combat-ready status of the units as a basis for action leading to specific improvements are established through a readiness check, described and illustrated in the first paper. A tactical training method bridging the gap between the classroom and the field is the subject of the second paper.
