Abstract : The translation is a discussion of the problem of reducing refraction errors in azimuth determinations. The complexity of this problem is well known. It is suggested to place the corrections for refraction into the azimuths at Laplace stations according to the zenith distances measured simultaneously with the azimuthal designations. In this case it is necessary to know actual (more accurate) theoretical zenith distances. In this paper the theoretical part of the problem is calculated on a specific example.
