Abstract : Observations of the occultation of the Crab Nebula by the solar corona were made in June, 1960. These observations were made at the Clark Lake radio astronomy station at a wavelength of 11.4 meters. They are very similar to those made in 1959 and reported previously. Most of these observations were again obtained with a fan beam antenna whose response pattern measures 1.5 deg. E-W and 30 deg. N-S. The radio noise output of this antenna was determined with a comparison radiometer which measured the difference between the antenna noise and the output of a regulated noise source. (Author)
