Abstract : The necessity of studying the germination conditions of fungus spores emanates naturally from the fact that the infection of plants depends first of all on that complex of factors of the environment, which is necessary for the germination of the spores. Investigation was made of the dependency of the germination process of the teleutospores and basidiospores of Puccinia graminis f. avenae upon temperature, humidity and light. In the germination of the uredospores of Puccinia triticina, the problem investigated was how these spores endure the alternating drying and wetting in the different temperature combinations.
