Abstract : The results are reported of an experimental study of electrical properties of 10-20 micromoles thick polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), polyethylene terephthalate (PETP), and polycarbonate (PC) films. As these films are only slightly hygroscopic, vacuum-sprayed Ag electrodes were used. To prevent dimensional instability, teflon was preheated for several hours at 250C before its electrical properties were measured. (Author)
