Abstract : The transportation method was used to determine the vapor pressure of silver above pure liquid silver and above molten Ag-Si alloys in the temperature range of 1450 to 1600C. The experimental values of the vapor pressure of pure liquid silver were related to temperature and a complete thermodynamic description of liquid Ag-Si alloys was achieved. (Author)
