Abstract : The paper analyzes certain multi-point boundary value problems for linear ordinary differential equations which depend on a small, positive parameter epsilon. The differential order of both the equation and the boundary conditions are allowed to drop when epsilon = 0. Conditions are obtained to guarantee convergence to a limiting solution as epsilon approaches zero, and complete asymptotic expansions are then given. (Author)
