Abstract : The purpose of this study was to determine the extent to which team performance of a tank crew is related to the tank commander's (TC's) performance of command and supervisory functions, and increase understanding of factors which affect the organization of individuals into effective teams. Research on small groups was reviewed and tests of tank crew functions (maintenance and tactical employment) were developed. (Author)
