Abstract : The study was undertaken to investigate the effect of co-dispersal of FP with other materials and tracers and to improve the representation of the efficiencies of the co-dispersal dissemination systems and the air sampling systems. The co-dispersal studies of FP 2267-Yellow and FP 3206-Green with other fluorescent tracers of various sizes, densities and colors and with BG were performed using the high speed centrifugal blower as a dissemination device. FP aerosol clouds comprised of up to four different fluorescent colors were generated, sampled and assessed. The reproducibility and limitations of co-dispersal results, the blower co-dispersal efficiency and new co-dispersal applications are described. The sampling performance of the membrane filter sampler was investigated. A collection efficiency of the Rotorod sampler was measured using standard procedures. Also, the collection efficiency was determined using modified collector shapes and coating procedures which were developed to enhance the assessability of the Rotorod FP collections. Sampling studies were conducted with the 6-second and 30-second Drum Pulsed Sequential FP sampler.
