Abstract : A method is suggested for finding the dimensionless hydrodynamic characteristics of a ships' hulls at arbitrary angles of leeway, not requiring the conduct of a special experiment for each actual ship. This method is based on a generalization of the results of rotating arm tests of a specially designed new series of models, with the configuration of a marine merchant ship. (Author)
