Abstract : The article reports on a device for extruding molybdenum in a vacuum or helium, using glass wool and copper as the lubricant. Niobium was also joined to 1Kh18N9T steel. The junction was vacuum tight and allowed bending and other tests per the specifications for bimetallic semifinished products. Tests of similar junctions of Mb alloy and 1Kh18N9T steel also gave positive results. (Author)
