Abstract : The adhesion strength of epoxy resins to fibers made of alumino-borosilicate and T-273 (titanium dioxide containing) type glass was determined. Adhesion strength was computed. Triethylamine was used to consolidate the ED-5 and ED-6 resins. The effects of paraffin-emulsion lubricants on the adhesion strength of epoxy polymers with glass fibers (10-12 microns in diameter) are given.
