Abstract : A program of reduction of the photographic-photometric data obtained on releases of chemicals in the high atmosphere in 1968 is described. Isophote maps plotted by an automatically-sampling 2-dimensional microdensitometer were used in the determination of upper atmosphere densities, diffusion coefficients, and oxygen atom concentrations from the distribution of surface brightness of the luminous clouds. Sample results of the measurement program from nine releases of nitric oxide, diborane, and tri-methyl aluminum made in winter and summer are presented. (Author)
