Abstract : The article deals with the improvement of methods of thermoplastic treatment to increase the heat resistance through combined thermo-mechanical action. This action consists of deforming the material (under conditions of creep) at room temperature not higher than the temperature of the beginning of recrystallization. The extensive investigations in recent times of methods of strengthening titanium alloys are discussed. (Author)
