Abstract : Equations are derived which extend previous results so that the final equations are applicable to sandwich shells with laminated anisotropic facings. The facings are considered to be constructed of similar materials that obey the Kirchhoff hypothesis. Classical 'weak core' assumptions are used for the orthotropic core. (Author)
