Abstract : The paper incorporates the three inputs of capital, production labor, and cooperating labor into the production function as the best method of explaining factor employment. Section 1 presents the theoretical aspects of two models used to test the hypotheses. Section 2 describes the statistical techniques and the data -- the assumptions, problems, and biases. Section 3 presents the results of the statistical analyses and their implications, and indicates as well some areas of extension for the present analysis. (Author)
