Abstract : The theoretical results are presented of a study of transfer processes during the mixing of two counter flows of plane jets of heterogeneous compressible gases. It is assumed that the mixing process occurs as a result of the molecular diffusion in the boundary layer (mixing zone) at the contact boundary of the jets and the mixed gases do not react chemically. All the physical assumptions of the boundary layer theory in the study are valid. (Author)
