Abstract : Aviation designers conceived the idea of constructing an aircraft in such a manner that its wings could vary their position at the desire of the pilot. When it is necessary to increase the speed - they are laid back toward the fuselage, and the aircraft becomes arrow-like, and when the speed is decreased, the wings again straighten out, creating considerably greater lift. In this case the supersonic craft let us say a fighter-interceptor, transforms into an inoffensive slowly moving aircraft. For such an aircraft, airfields with runways of several kilometers in length will not be needed. (Author)
