Abstract : The components of short-wave radiation and net total radiation were measured continuously at Pt. Barrow, Alaska, from January to September during 1963. Data are presented as daily energy sums and hourly means of radiative flux density for each month. In general, the errors in the radiation data may attain plus or minus 5 - 10%. The year 1963 was climatologically anomalous in some respects. Notably it was the wettest on record. Solar data for Barrow (solar elevation, extraterrestrial solar radiative flux density, and optical air mass) are given for selected dates and times. (Author)
