Abstract : The paper discusses the direct problem of temporary disturbances of gravitational and magnetic fields. The question on determination of an analytical expression in elementary functions, or of geometric form for the variations in time in the gravitational field, by the given characteristics of a moving, anamalous solid medium is proposed. As given characteristics of such a medium, the following functions of time and space are considered: the density, the form of the medium surface and the external forces deforming the medium; hence, the tensor of stress and the tensor of deformation will also be regarded as given. The conclusion is reached that in the problem of temporary disturbances of gravitational and magnetic fields it is necessary to study the change in time of the fields of anomalies. Since spatial anomalies can be chosen at different depth levels, it is possible to study the spatial pattern of the tectonic-physical processes. Because of this possibility it is useful to combine the temporary disturbances of geophysical fields with the movements of the earth's surface. (Author)
