Abstract : The paper describes the work carried out on an antifouling composition incorporating Emerald Green, a copper arsenic compound, as the toxic pigment. Exposure trials at different sites showed the fouling-free life of the composition to be 6 to 7 months which was higher than that of the commercial compositions exposed simultaneously. Emerald Green is regarded as a satisfactory toxicant. (Author)
