Abstract : An exponential reduction in infectiousness of a triply cloned population of eastern encephalomyelitis of horses was observed under the influence of hydroxylamine. At pH 6.1 the virus was inactivated considerably more rapidly than at pH 9.1. With an increase in incubation temperature, the process of inactivation of the virus by hydroxylamine was significantly accelerated, especially at acid pH. (Author)
