Abstract : A 24-inch balloon-borne telescope that had been started under a previous contract was completed and then used in making twelve lunar-study flights. Results of these are reported here. Mention is also made of several important modifications that were developed during the flight program for improving the operation of this system. Also included are pertinent facts about a second 24-inch telescope that was designed and almost completely built during the period of the contract. (Author)
