Abstract : The experiment was designed to measure the characteristics of the Cerenkov light in extensive air showers, and to derive information about the primary composition. The research indicates that the chemical composition of primary cosmic rays up to 10 to the 16th power eV is mixed much as it is at lower energies, approximately 10 to the 12th power eV.
