Abstract : The use of radio altimeters during aerial photography to determine flight altitude and for radio altimetry has a number of peculiarities connected with relief and character of the surface. Study of changes in the readings of a radio altimeter and the errors in determining flight altitude are very important for practical purposes. (Author)
