Abstract : A questionnaire mailed worldwide to U. S. Army aviation warrant officers asked questions concerning career intentions, systems of values, attitudes, and reasons for pursuing civilian or military careers. Selected items from the questionnaires of a number who had already made career decisions were scored, and the scores were used to generate regression coefficients to predict the career decisions of other subjects. More accurate prediction was achieved for those departing the Army than for men who chose to remain. (Author)
