Abstract : The associated gamma-ray time-of-flight technique has been used to investigate the principal decay modes of several low-lying levels in 18Ne, 22Mg and 38Ca via the (3He,n gamma) reaction. Neutron-gamma coincidence data obtained in this manner has been used to limit the possible spin-parity assignments to these levels. (Author)
