Abstract : The study of turbulent exchange in the surface layer of the atmosphere is of great interest in meteorology. Actually, the basic transfer of heat and moisture into the bottom layers of the atmosphere is a result of the turbulent exchange in the very lowest layers of air. Of practical interest is the study of the relation of the vertical profiles of wind velocity and temperature to turbulent exchange, since this relation makes it possible to compute the exchange characteristics from the results of the measurement of these profiles. The study of the transport momentum enables one to find the coefficients of turbulent exchange, the rate of dissipation of the kinetic energy, etc. By itself the eddy stress is one of the most important characteristics of turbulent motion.
