Abstract : The displacement and microrotation vectors are formally determined for a given body force and couple distribution in an infinite micropolar elastic solid, using the Fourier transform technique. A special potential representation is then used to investigate the case of the concentrated force and couple. The explicit results are given for singularities of harmonic type. (Author)
