Abstract : The report contains the observed and interpolated temperature and salinity data plus the computed sigma-t, geopotential anomalies and sound velocities for 112 oceanographic stations occupied by six U. S. Coast Guard cutters at Ocean Station CHARLIE (centered at 52 degrees 45'N, 35 degrees 30'W) during May 1966-March 1967. They were the CGC DUANE, 5-26 May 1966; CGC HALF MOON, 20 June-11 July 1966; CGC HUMBOLDT, 3-25 August 1966; CGC BIBB, 17 September-3 October 1966; CGC BARATARIA, 25 November-17 December 1966; and CGC MENDOTA, 23 February-17 March 1967. Daily casts of 10-14 Nansen bottles were made to 1500 meters when weather conditions permitted. In addition, sampling was successfully extended to near the bottom on at least one station during each patrol. (Author)
