Abstract : The problem is solved of the interaction of two boundary layers of a conducting fluid, one of which is a two-dimensional laminar jet boundary layer, and the other which is a near-wall boundary layer. The effect of the velocity profile bulging near an insulated solid surface is observed, if the magnetic field has been oriented along the surface orthogonally with respect to the wake. (Author)
