Abstract : In a recent laboratory experiment subjects who spent more learning time on difficult instructional relative to their own learning times on easy items, made fewer posttest errors in an analysis of behavior. This is a report of two replications of the former study: Replication 1 with the same instructional materials, and Replication 2 with an instructional sequence which immediately followed these original materials. Subjects were selected from the same population used in the other study. (Author)
