Abstract : From 1965 to 1969 current measurements with moored current meters were made in the Hawaiian Archipelago for periods of from two to six weeks. Data from each of the 43 current meter stations are given as progressive vector diagrams, frequency distribution of direction and speed, and computed tidal ellipses. The mooring techniques, data reduction, and computation of the tidal ellipses are described. (Author)
