Abstract : The study investigates the influence of the condition of atmospheric masses on gravity, its potential and plumbline deflection according to a world weather map. The obtained formulas for consideration of the influence of anomalous atmospheric masses upon gravity, its potential and plumbline deflection were investigated from the point of view of their practical application. The Meteorological Bulletin, published monthly by the Central Institute of Forecasting served as the initial material. On the world weather maps, the earth's globe was divided into 10 degrees x 10 degrees trapezoids. The mean values of anomalies of atmospheric pressure were written for each trapezoid. Computations were carried on in two stages - consideration of influence of anomalous atmospheric masses on gravity, its potential and plumbline deflection in the central and near zone, and consideration of the same elements in remote zones. The entire study on the computation of the potential of atmospheric masses was carried out for one point of the physical surface of the earth in a three months period. A computational result table is given. (Author)
