Abstract : This report extends the model of Beckmann which gives a general equilibrium formulation to the study of the demand for travel on particular network links. The paper develops a model of travel behavior considering transportation as a production activity which must be operated at a certain level to consume other services, and not as an item for consumption. This model postulates uniform and homogenous time flows and considers macro stability of flows. (Author)
