Abstract : Unbiased nearly best linear estimates of the scale and location parameters of the (first) extreme value distribution of largest values estimators were calculated and tabled for sample sizes from 15 to 40. The tables include coefficients of estimators for complete samples along with values for samples singly censored from above as well as coefficients for estimators of doubly censored samples. For each entry in the tables an efficiency of the estimator relative to the complete sample estimator is also tabulated. (Author)
