Abstract : Calculation of the complex vibration frequency in a one-dimensional acoustical system containing a plane heat source is presented. It is assumed that the heat source intensity depends on the temperature and pressure. Relaxation equations containing a delay time are postulated for the heat source intensity under nonstationary conditions. The results are used to analyze the excitation of oscillations in the combustion of a CO-air mixture. (Author)
