Abstract : The article gives results of the measurement of amplification factors of a semiconductor optical quantum amplifier OKU based on gallium arsenide, in pulse conditions at the temperature of liquid nitrogen. Conclusions are drawn as to the prospects of the application of OKU in optical communication lines. (Author)
