Abstract : Upon immunization with live fixed rabies virus and Fermi vaccine, regular penetration of minimal amounts of fixed rabies virus antigens into the central nervous systems of animals (white mice, white rats, rabbits, and dogs) was observed. Penetration is accompanied by an increase in the mucolipid content in the brains of vaccinated animals, which appear from the 8th to the 14th day after vaccination, and appears to be indication of a protective reaction.
