Abstract : A mathematical description is given the kinetics of the radiation-thermal decomposition of nitrogen dioxide in one-dimensional flow with use of the known equations of energy and mass transfer. The reaction mechanism was examined. The ratio of the rates of the initial radiation and thermal decompositions of NO2 was evaluated. Under conditions of high temperature flow, effects caused by the effect of thermal decomposition NO2 on the radiation decomposition were additive. In this case the process is described by a system of 8 differential equations of the first order with nonlinear right-hand terms. (Author)
