Abstract : This report describes the applications of hybrid computer techniques to three areas of scientific investigation. The areas investigated were: The effects of perturbative forces on the trajectory of an orbiting satellite, the propagation of electromagnetic energy in the ionosphere, and the track tracing of nuclear emulsions. The text consists of three separate sections, or reports. Each report of an investigation includes discussions relating to: Mathematical modeling, considerations for selecting hybrid approaches, hybrid computer implementation, results of the study, and recommendations.
