Abstract : An approximate method is developed for calculating the flow properties of gas-particle mixture flowing over turbine blades in a cascade. Momentum and heat transfer between the gas and particles, as well as compressibility effects were considered. An investigation was made of the effect of particle concentration, mean diameter, particle material density, particle inlet velocity and temperature on the gas particle flow properties on a turbine blade.
