Abstract : Eight (or 9) types of RNA are described which are regularly synthesized in the course of reproduction of NDV in the cells of chick fibroblasts. There sedimentation constants were 10, 13, 18, 22, 28, 32, 36, and 48 S; in addition, from time to time RNA with a sedimentation constant of 26 S was detected. Reasons are expressed concerning the functional significance of these types of RNA. (Author)
