Abstract : A new method is presented for characterization of stochastic transmission channels. Transfer relations for the new characterizations are derived. Methods are developed for generating the characterizations from empirically determined waveforms. Series expansions of the expected instantaneous response power are derived in terms of the new characterizations. (Author)
