Title :   A COMPARISON OF CREEP AND HOT WORKING STRAIN RATE RELATIONSHIPS,

Corporate Author : MCGILL UNIV MONTREAL (QUEBEC) DEPT OF METALLURGICAL ENGINEERING

Personal Author(s) : Jonas,J. J.

Report Date : 15 NOV 1968

Pagination or Media Count : 4

Abstract : The report considers whether hot working strain rates are greater or less than the predictions from extrapolated creep data and whether the stress induced at a given high strain rate will be greater or less than the flow stress suggested by extrapolating creep results. The report also discusses whether the different shapes of the experimental curves can be given a physical interpretation.
