Abstract : The characterization of the natural focus of Omsk haemorrhagic fever is given on the basis of virological, serological and experimental investigations. Viruses were isolated from animals belonging to 4 different species. The authors put forward a hypothesis of the polihostal character of the natural focus of Omsk haemorrhagic fever. (Author)
