Abstract : The purpose of the paper is to compare the responses of managers from seven countries to a simulated communication exercise. The focus of attention is on similarities and differences in managers' preferences and performance in using one-way and two-way communication. The preferences in the communication exercise are also compared to an economic indicator. (Author)
