Abstract : The paper discusses some of the problems encountered in conducting behaviorally oriented programs, using a small group laboratory approach, in developing nations. The organizational and social contexts in developing nations that might contribute to issues in management training are briefly outlined. Specific problems relating to training executives and trainers are discussed and some suggestions are offered based on experiences in India. (Author)
