Abstract : The purpose of the program is to conduct an exploratory development of a conduction cooled Neotron (Field Effect Tube) and associated circuitry. The ultimate target of the program is the combination of these developments into a conduction-cooled sonar amplifier module with electrical characteristics similar to the present SQS 23 Sonar Amplifier, but with improved reliability and ease of servicing.
