Abstract : In order to study the dependence of the viscosity on temperature of lubricating fractions in individual groups of hydrocarbons separated from these fractions and to create a mathematical expression which would characterize this dependence, the viscosity/temperature properties of certain distillates were investigated. The distillates included Balakhany crude oil (MK-8, machine SU, turbine L), viscosin, and also individual groups of hydrocarbons separated from these distillates and various compositions of these groups of hydrocarbons in a broad temperature interval (-50C-100C).
